GPS Orlando Announce Trotters Park as Home Location
SECOND TRYOUTS ANNOUNCED FOR TUESDAY MAY 22ND - THURSDAY MAY 24TH
GPS Orlando is excited to announce that the club has secured the field contract for Trotters Park field complex which will see club operations move to the new location in August to commence the 2018/19 season.
The four-field complex, situated on Lee Road, will be used exclusively by GPS as the club has secured a multi-year agreement for the facility. The contract has helped GPS fulfill an ambition to secure a multi-field complex that they can call ‘home.’
“We are absolutely ecstatic to move our training and game day environment to Trotters Park to commence the 2018/19 season,” said GPS Orlando Director of Coaching Kevin Aylett. "As we continued to self evaluate the club we were always conscious that a multi-field complex was something we desired. I am confident that pulling all our player and coaching resources into this facility continues to elevate GPS Orlando as the premier club for providing the optimum player development environment.”
GPS Orlando will be holding an additional set of tryouts for the 2018/19 season from Tuesday 22nd – Thursday 24th May. To register to attend these additional dates please click HERE. Please note players already registered to a roster spot on a GPS Orlando 2018/2019 team DO NOT need to come to the additional dates.
“When I joined the organization two years ago I sat down with the General Manager and we identified two goals that we needed to aspire towards with immediate effect. We both agreed a multi-field complex was one and the second was enhancing our coaching staff. In the past year we have placed multiple existing staff onto all levels of USSF courses and we have complimented our existing staff with the hire of more ‘A’ and ‘B’ license coaches. This has strengthened the infrastructure of the club as we continue to set the bar high in terms of player development. We have huge aspirations for the club as we move into the next phase of our evolution as we continue to strive to be the pre-eminent place for the developing youth soccer player in Orlando.”
