One wonders why a coach associated with the Bestest Darn Girls' League In the Land is so paranoid and defensive about a neighborhood club up in Clark County, that he's off trawling gotsoccer trying to "prove" that the girls thereon won't be playing college.

Not all clubs blare their college commits from the rooftops, let alone market themselves as The Only True Path To D1. If FCSC is really so bad, and their appearance at Nationals two years ago just a rec tournament, then why would ECNL pay them any mind? You don't see Mercedes-Benz comparing its cars to Hondas, yet here we are--someone bragging that his so-called luxury car is more stylish than a Civic.

If ECNL were really all that, most here would acknowledge this, and you desperate fools wouldn't need to act like Sarah Huckabee Sanders in an anonymous soccer blog. But the fact that you feel the need to piss on Salmon Creek--Salmon Creek!!!--shows just how insecure and precarious your position really is.

THUSC, Crossfire, and FC could certainly field competitive OYSA teams if they wanted to, rather than hiding out with Seattle B teams in a little league of their own, that happens to be in the same association as the powerhouse teams from Cali and Texas. Sad!

No one is paranoid just calling out the facts of your irrelevancy. Hopefully getting your ***** handed to you in Hawaii will bring you back down to reality. Winning the Washington State Cup at U18 with the rest of the state's talent playing DA and ECNL isn't anything to brag about even though your coach tells you it is.

Yes and we also forsake the letters associated with playing High School. They are a distraction and detriment to good order and discipline amongst our players. They are symbols to be let go from our mental picture of success.

I haven't been affected in anyway. My kids went like 2 loses and 10 wins against this group. Earlier posted showed a commitment list of kids that came thru FCSC and it was telling. In that group was some top level talent that should have went on and played at power 5 schools. The DOC's own kid is going power 5 because Doc worked hard to get said child to ECNL and GDA team for recruitment. I just think instead of beating drum and saying they are top flight and best local option they should be a little more transparent. (Wining at a lesser level and not getting good enough looks from upper level schools because comp is weak.) That is honest and parents wouldn't feel betrayed in end.

00 team has played in more high level competitions (high level for non-ECNL that is) than just about any other non-ECNL team in Oregon/SWWA. And won a number of championships doing it. And all from a club that draws from an area with a population of less than 20,000.

Yes but said 00 team was recruited from all around metro area. Kids left ECNL and went to 00 group with many promises and tales of recruiting opps. You saw the list of commitments. They were not taken care off properly and should have stayed ECNL.

Salmon Creek update - Our image is improving. Previously known for rehab centers and pawn shops, the area is cleaning up. We are a proud community of many diverse cultures. We have a team, a real team with spirited players and family support. Come out and see us play. We are essentially an GDA team in disguise so get over yourselves and accept excellence and civility.

So your complaining that another team recruited players away from teams that thrives on and is built on recruitment? That someone is apparently beating ECNL at their own game?
