      NYSC
      Met Oval
      World Class
      FC Westchester
      NYCFC

Now these are the 5 closest DA clubs in the area right? I mean 0-5 looks bad, if feels bad, and it might BE BAD. But is it because those clubs are just more talented (MLS club obviously is) but each of the listed normal DA clubs above are raided by NYCFC and Red Bulls just the same. Why is Beachside under performing so much. They can't tie ONE FRIGGEN GAME?

If they lose to the Cosmos next week, and head to NC DA Showcase 0-6, how does that look and feel?

I can tell you 2 years ago that we (former BS family) were beating all those teams week in and week out. Both Met Oval and World Class were regular blowouts in our favor . And yes this is the same year as the current BS team. The only team we didn’t play was NYCFC because they didn’t have team yet.

Really? Try reading comprehension. You went through all that work and you’re talking about completely different age groups. You may as well post the 1996 NFC East standings...just as meaningful.

You seem to be a bit of a retard. We were on the 2006 team that played in the NYCFC Youth Affiliate league with all the teams that were previously mentioned.

We get it! A bunch of players 2006 left BS for other clubs. Whatever the reason why not just be happy with your child’s choice. Why bash a club at one point you couldn’t wait to tell people your child was playing for. Your child might ask you at one point to go back, what will you say? Best to be happy with your move and keep supporting your child. No club is perfect.

You are right. No club is perfect. However, some clubs just stink. Years ago, BS was as close to perfection as you can get in CT. Best club, best talent, best coaching.

Those days are long gone. Folks who left learned the hard way. Those still there will learn as well. Despite what some folks on here say, BS is not going anywhere in the next year or two. However, there is no way it exists in it's current form in 3-5 years.

If your kid is u17 then you are OK. Winning record or losing record he will be OK. If your kid is on u12 and you aren't actively looking at alternative clubs for next year, you are doing a dis-service to your kid.

Dikmuncher, 2 years ago these were BSs DA teams. If it wasnt DA, you are talking about 9 and 10 year old PREMIER teams. WHO CARES? Top DA teams get assembled when they become free and in the past 2 years premier soccer has been watered down even more with the creation of ENPL and even more teams and clubs.
