Another good idea. They'd benefit. But, there's no real future in the NT. Will get a business degree and be a CEO of some investment firm. So, we'll settle for D1 placement with a partial or full-boat athletic scholarship.

unlike other clubs where they need the younger talent to fill in at the older level you WILL NOT PLAY UP unless your name is Mia Hamm at FSA or CFC. Maybe if an injury happens and the older team is in dire need.

Someone is worried that their kid will get benched. The game is competitive, son. If a stronger kid comes along, even if a year younger, the stronger kid gets the nod. This isn't rec. league.

Tryouts shouldn’t be happening until the season is over. It’s bs. Other sports wait.

The CJSA limited the tryout window to prevent this kind of nonsense. In their quest for cash, U.S. Club doesn't do that.

You might play up on an FSA C team. Not on ECNL or NPL. The other badge team parents would blow a gasket if your kid moved up to the exclusion of a reserve player of the same age.

You can play up if you go to Pomfret at FSA or Loomis at OW. OW also plays a lot of kids up in the Fall when numbers are thin because the prep school kids haven't come back to take their starting spots yet.

                    OW DA tryouts are done.

Oh, then we'll just have the coach add her.

It butts up against summer vacations, camps etc. All the different leagues are on different schedules too. When CJSA had a tighter control of the market this was easier to control, but families still found ways around it. It isn't ideal, but is what it is.
