Class player who always made the game look easy. Definition of loyalty.

He was getting recruited by the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United during his prime but stayed loyal and chose to stay in Liverpool.

Winning the Champions League was his biggest achievement. -One night in Istanbul-

One of the greatest comebacks of all time. Whether you love Liverpool or hate Liverpool, you have to appreciate their tenacity and sheer will to win in the face of staggering odds. Sure, they had Gerrard, Alonso, Hyypia and Carra in their primes, but that AC Milan team was loaded.

You have to at least mention the refereeing when you talk about this comeback.

Milan had one of the strongest sides in European football ever. Cafu, Nesta, Maldini, Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Kaka, Shevchenko and Costa. That's a ridiculous team.

Sorry but SG will always be remembered for his Buckneresque double last year:
                Ba and Suarez.

Now we'll see if he can make it in MLS.

Watched the Gals vs. Dallas and Orlando and thought them dreadful; at this point the defending champs don't make the playoffs. Maybe he'll have an impact or maybe it'll become a nightmare...
