If he does indeed come to the MLS at the age of 32/33 with his body well kept and in shape, he'd still score 30-40 goals a season. He's one of the best players our generation and arguably the history of football has ever seen. He's broken tons of records and won countless trophies.

His form-trajectory is actually scary for his age and borderline abnormal. He's 30 now but he's efficiency and goal scoring hasn't dropped at all... At 30, his number of goals and number of assists should theoretically be dropping every season but it just keeps get higher and higher and stays pretty consistent for the most part.
You must be a proud Portuguese and congratulations on your beloved Ronaldo but let's not forget that he is virtually invisible with his national team and the accolades he gets has to do more with his looks and further enhancing the global branding of FIFA. Got it? You understand how global commercialism works? obrigado

You are misguided if you think that. Sebastian Giovinco who is 25 years old, has been having rough time and he's an Italian national team player. Beckham certainly didn't dominate and neither would Ronaldo or Messi. total BS.
Ronaldo scores like 50 goals a season in La Liga when his schedule is A LOT more demanding than MLS. He has to worry about Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup among other matches.

He'll score at least 30 goals in the MLS easily. It's just how motivated he will be playing the MLS that will play a huge factor.

Giovinco is NOT an Italian national team player. And he surely won't be now that he's playing for Toronto FC.....

Not physically possible for Ronaldo to play in the MLS.

None of the stadiums are big enough for his ego.

Look for LOTS of bare chested promotional material. Trying to get that soccer mom $$$$.

Yes he was, Prandelli had him on the bench.

Actually he wasn't chosen for the Italian national side.

People who argue that Ronaldo won't score 30+ in the MLS are lying to themselves or have never watched Ronaldo play for a full season. He's a ridiculous player and a once in a generation type player.

People don't seem to realize that scoring almost 100 goals in a calendar season is abnormal, ONE HUNDRED GOALS. It's been happening for several years now (with Messi) with such consistency that people seem to overlook how crazy it actually is.

Spoken like a true Portuguese. We realize he's your God but he'd never score that many in MLS. Maybe in the Indian or Chinese leagues, not in MLS. Too much athleticism here.

                        I'm American.

But look at how crazy this is.

No one has that type of match:goal ratio.

An American defender would take him out as soon as makes those duck like runs and those idiotic step overs. Then turns to whine to the referee.

Who's this American defender you speak of?
I doubt he's any more aggressive than Puyol or John Terry.

Such an ignorant fan of the sport. You sit at home and think it's so easy to just go in and tackle Ronaldo like it's a walk in the park.

The guy's an elite player playing on arguably the best team in the world. You don't get there by being a poser or a sissy. The guy can play and the fact you refuse to believe that shows me of little you know about the sport. You don't think there are defenders that would love to tackle him to pieces? The fact is... they can't touch him. He's too quick and agile.

Give me a break, La Liga has 3 top teams and then a big drop off in talent. Everyone knows that. You're just too enamored with pretty boy to admit it. Portugal, Italy and England is the same. Top three/four money clubs and then crap. Ronaldo's performance in World Cup's are pretty abysmal. You know why? Because the best of the best are out there.
