Is this confirmed? Big loss and draw for Stars North if true. I always assumed there was a rub with JD because MK kept his team and didn't send any to the ECNL or NPL teams.

Not sure I understand the move to the Breakers if true. They have an established and successful GU13 team.

Think about it, the guy is a draw and is NOT coaching ECNL team, thats reserved fro JD and his crew, the move to Breakers North makes sense he can coach ECNL teams and his qualified players can play for him at ECNL.

Dumb move on the Stars part...

What a coincidence that right before tryouts there are two active threads discussing how clubs in the north are in trouble. I wonder who could benefit from that?

Could the rumors that have already been posted that the Breakers merging with Bolts and getting all these north coaches be true. If so this will be like a Phoenix raising from the ashes. NEFC and Stars will in for a battle now at U15 and under next year.

LOL! Because Bolts have so many good teams that combining them will turn the club around.

On the boys side yes and has a lot of good players at U14 and under currently that would help the u15 and under next year on the girls. If Bayside is part of the merge and can have players try-out for all teams. Look at the entire picture and not just focus on teams but players that could make teams better.

MK develops players better than anyone else and doesnt sacrifice development and style of play for wins...his teams are competive with everyone not just in MA but on the East Coast. Aztec should have made him an assett for player development and didnt, JD should do the same but prefers his own way and system, doesnt like that North Players wont play ECNL for lesser coaches (parents understand value of development over league and score of matches) and doesnt like that many of his top ECNL and NPL go to MK for development training. Anyone can teach English kick and run footy. Major Coup for Breakers if they pick up MK and his girls sides...strong U10,11,13,14's If your kid trained with MK you would understand but if they havent or you havent watched his sessions and compared them to folks like DS, GC, JD, BB, ED, FM, TF and SUSC coaches then youre doing your kids a disservice thinking coaches are good based on winning and the league they coach in. Maybe someone at Breakers put their ego asside and figured out what an assett MK could be???

OMG!! MK - you couldn't have written a better glowing report of yourself. You should have included what great sportsmanship you display and the life lessons you teach your players. It's not all about soccer, as there is the role model aspect too. In this area, you fail miserably.

just statements of facts about the product from an astute customer. We all have defects of character but when you look at the overall portfolio of work his players are much more skilled from top to bottom than any others and you cant please everyone...but if you asked the parents of the kids that play for him if their child is as good a soccer player as they can be 9 out of 10 who were honest with themselves would agree. :)

MK is a rat!!! One of the most un-trustworthy people in youth soccer in this area!! Whoever gets him next will get him for two minutes then he moves onto the next group. Anyone who has two cents about them sees through him and his lies! Good luck to who gets him!

Perhaps the "Brass" at these club organizations just become a little intimidated when they see someone who is interested in player development more than club expansion and have to work harder to stay on top of their game... and arent astute enough business people to focus on the customer, have a strategy that is agile, and can change with the market place ....sounds like former employers are disgruntled but clients are gruntled :)
