There are many teams with players injured. It doesn't take much for a team to lose starters and look like a completely different team. Our team had six out a month ago for a game: Concussions, twisted ankle, ACL, sicknesses. The key is keeping a large healthy team.

The only way to do that is for the coach to use his subs regularly, if not some solid players who don't see the field much, won't be there when you need them most. Seen this several times, and really comes down to bad coaching decisions, many teams find themselves with 12-13 at state cup when they started the season with 18.

It is easy to fall down. The B players get busy with their team, and rosters get frozen for State Cup.
