    Redbull Girls Program

Is Redbull serious about the Girls Program?

    #2
Nope just using it to build their brand with advertising and building their younger fan base. Also a very lucrative business. If it was free I would say they are serious.

Serious about charging you lots of money for not much of anything. Players are leaving their 07’s at a crazy pace

Beyond a nice practice facility, I don’t see a path forward there.

Red Bulls Girls winter and summer showcase teams have some really good players. Their RDS programs are also very good. My daughter and a couple of her friends have been doing them for a few years now and the training they are getting has really helped improve their skills.

2007 has 3 very exceptional players and after that the talent falls off a cliff.

Do they not fund the girls academy like they do for the boys academy?

With Sky Blue now sharing the RB training facilities, and playing at RB Arena, I believe it won't be soon before the two amalgamate, in some fashion.

2005G could have had a team for the ages! Red Bull’s dropped the ball in recruiting. They had many of the top 2005G players in the tri state around, at showcases and extra trainings. Red Bull’s screwed it up bad.

They mainly do supplemental training and only accept top players.

Agree all about the boys 100%, they may be able to put together some good all star summer teams but even that is about collecting your $900 and getting you to wear their uniforms advertising Red Bulls, getting you to buy tix to games etc....pretty smart business. Wonder why SkyBlue does not do it. A bunch or Mia’s and Sally’s would be lining up!!

They tried with PDA and NYSC. They can’t even get talent to play on their professional team.how are they going to attract talent to their youth teams. Look at Reign they struggle with their youth teams

Nope it’s pretty expensive for what you get and everything is an extra. No pathway for the future either. Boys are different because they are hoping to find the diamond in the rough to push up to the full team giving them a reason to invest in the boys

What league do their academy age girls's teams play - for example U15?
