You mean rec where the parents are coaches? Is he supposed to learn that naturally?

Most competitive is recreation anyway, just with fancy uniforms and a high price tag.

Tell your so-called clubs to stop taking them.

Your kid ain't no Messi either but the club cashed your check so they must be "elite" right?

Maybe the idiot coaches in this area should identify that in there technical session during tryouts. Wait they don’t do that! There is a place for everyone in soccer but coaches are so pathetic in s Florida they put kids into situations there not ready for yet

With too many leagues and teams everything is a watered down mess. There's a spot somewhere for any player whose family can write a check and can afford to travel all over to play other garbage teams

There should be a place for all kids who want to play competitive soccer. They just need to be placed on appropriate teams and leagues.

That would require a soccer pyramid that makes sense. Like someone said, now you can find a spot for your kid just about anywhere.

You sound like a defensive club owner who takes players #16-20 because it helps your profit margin

What’s funny is the more teams the worse it is for the club. When we were researching which club to join, and went to see a game, it happened to be their worse team in our age group. At the time we didn’t know this and just assumed it was their team for that birth year and that the team, club, and coach sucked.
