The ONLY thing YY is loyal to is padding his bank account.
He truly could give a rat's ass about his players, only how much $$ he can separate from their respective parents.

YY can lose every game in a season and still convince families next year will be the best season. Next season YY will be the best recruiter of youth soccer in Florida. The first 3 years of GDA at WFF were about developing top players. Next season will be about recruiting. Get your checkbooks out parents, WFF is almost to the finish line.
Let's recap:
1. Two years ago, he duped parents of B team players to pay DA fees for CDL/NPL training & games.
2. He is sold the "development" line for the last three years, wins & losses do not matter, it is all about "insert whatever coaching buzzword you want here". Please do not focus on the W/L's, the commitments & signings. Any tangible results are irrelevant, we at WFF choose to focus on mythical buzzwords that dazzle naive soccer parents.
3. WFF was a Top 15 GDA club. Again, a completely made up ranking that was NEVER posted anywhere on any US Soccer sites. Who were the other ranked GDA clubs?
There were none, which is why this was a total fabrication to keep WFF parents in line last spring & it worked.
Now, YY is somehow trying to spin that WFF has chosen to go down to the DPL league next & guessing given previous history, YY will be successful again.
He is truly one of the better sales dudes in the Tampa area, if not the entire state.

TBU, WFF, and the chargers all are doing it. (Any club with DA or ECNL... also WFF who wants to play with the big kids still)

So long story short, any DPL teams will NOT be participating in FYSA events and just strictly DPL events, which for a league that just started this year will be limited.
BTW "ID" clinics are basically tryouts, call it how it is.

WFF are announcing these clinics are starting next month which would be technically be before all FYSA/US club soccer clinics/tryouts are being held.

WFF just out out a video calling it tryouts. They also are claiming 148 college athletes in the last 7 years.
"As tryouts quickly approach us, West Florida Flames continues to emphasize its player development #flamesway model. Flames has dedicated to its players; development, creativity and loyalty by helping place 148 student athletes in college, while also developing national team players in the past 7 years. West Florida Flames is your pathway to college and beyond! #flamesway #wfffamily #collegepathway #playerdevelopment @topdrawersoccer @soccerwire @maxpreps @soccertoday__
Song credit : Hall of Fame by The Script"
Anything to get those parents checkbooks out. They are claiming college commitments of players that left WFF.

WFF DPL knew Tricia was coming to TBU and put together this “DPL ID clinic” to somehow retain some of their players, but is to late most were leaving before TBU good news now the rest is leaving too.

Lets be honest there might be 1-2 players on those WFF teams that might have a chance to make a top team at TBU. But with all the latest moves by TBU, they will attract a ton of players from around the tricounty area. So tuff sledding there...The parents who stay at WFF know that there kids arent good enough. Its ok thats part of life but at least for those who stay tell your club you expect more. The club should always be looking to provide the best coaching and training facilities. If they are not then they are not doing their due diligence to attract better players. WFF has truly fallen to the mud.
