How is that funny? The merger will make it the largest club in SWFL, It will bring the two most successful clubs under one umbrella (look at previous years ranking & State Cup outcomes). It will also provide the largest footprint of any other club in SWF. Explain why that statement is not accurate? Coach told the parents last night FL Fire is merging with NFM to form a new club with RP as the Exec Dir. No word on a DOC, but PW is out at the end of the season. This is really good news for the youth in the area if they can pull it off. However, they need to get affiliation immediately with the DA, DPL, ECNL etc. in order to really raise the opportunity and competition levels in the area. They also both have some quality coaching but the staff needs to be improved over the whole club and all age groups at a whole particularly in the U8 to U10 groups. They also need 3 to 4 days of practices which includes SAQ for a portion of most days. It'll cost more but it would be worth it.Comment
