and PA Classics have little history of player production, or results in high level events on the girls side. also, parents are not totally happy with the management of the club right now, however it is way better than it was a few years ago when the club made little effort on the girls side, but it could be better. they have made strides the past couple of years, but still have a long way to go. the younger gda teams have caught penn fusion, and the older penn fusion teams have a number of girls from central pa that would be a pa classics players if it was an option years ago. s.nj players are already going to SJEB, and central pa players to pa classics. penn fusion have never done a good job with player development within their own club, and have always had to go outside to get their teams to a level to play at the GDA level. penn fusion is so much better organized than any other club, and they make good choices that keep parents happy. happy parents, stable club. within the past 5-years PA girls soccer have not done very well on a national level. the past few years fc bucks and fc delco are bad club wide. although penn fusion have been able to pull most of the local talent they still were unable to have post-season success in the ECNL and now GDA. girls soccer in pa is pretty average.

Spot on - ECNL in PA just isn’t worth the price tag, time or travel commitment. And high school soccer in this area is pretty good - so lots of kids want to play HS ball which makes PF not an option.

Bottom line if wants to stay relevant in this area they either need to bring in a new club or force bucks and delco to make some changes. Many people are starting to question the value of ECNL at these two clubs.

        Okay.

When the majority of the PF teams are in top brackets (championship) in post season (including in it's ECNL final season), how is that not deemed successful? Btw unlike some other clubs, if a PF player travels even in post season, they play. Some clubs only play same kids. The object is to get them ready for college play. Kids play and kids get recruited. That is youth soccer.

Who cares about youth trophies? I see kids on teams that won trophies in their youth that play little if any in college. There are PF, Delco and Bucks and other PA kids in college .. playing, contributing.

The purpose behind youth soccer is to get kids committed to college and then get them to a position where they not only play but can be impactful. PA kids are doing that.
Btw...PF PMc (1 of 4 PA Uva players) drafted in nwsl.

        Not average at all.

That’s awesome, how do the 05s and the 06s compare to that?

Did the 04’s advance to ECNL playoffs last year? If so, what flight?

That is great. But Got Soccer is not a true ranking system.

Did anyone bother to fact check this - looks like GotSoccer has them ranked 38th in the U.S.A not 12th, and for whatever it is worth, 104th in the U.S. on Youthsoccerranking.

Bucks had the ranking posted all over their social media accounts - guess they didn’t bother to fact check it.

But the question is why would a club post a ranking citing got soccer anyway - everyone knows got soccer is not a great rankings site. Actually, come to think of it why would a club make any post like that? Desperate for some good publicity? Weird.

Seems like a typical FC Bucks thing to do - post all over social media a team's ranking that isnt even true.

Maybe they were at some point.

They were at 12th a few weeks ago. Now 38th. These rankings fluctuate weekly.

Well FC Bucks posted 20 hours ago, congratulating the team of being ranked number 12 in the country. And then someone posted on here shortly after that boasting of this as well.

Just goes to show you how piss poor and meaningless GotSoccer rankings are.
