Most of the 05s plan to stay together and continue DA at STA. Yes some will leave for what suits them better. None will follow SC because they don't want to go backwards.

How do they do that without a corporate sponsor? You cant have the lower level teams fund the top team unless you want rampant ugly resentment throughout your club - or more likely all the lower level players leave. Everyone is struggling to pay for their own kids soccer and is not interested in paying for another child's soccer lessons. Sorry.

Haha. Lets not get confused. This is primarily a money business with the hope of maybe developing the kids. Redbulls girls will not be fully funded if GDA happens. There are no pathways for women soccer. Clubs are just trying to extract as much as possible from parents pockets. Plus Redbulls are not really serious about their girls program.

You would think if Red Bulls was going to GDA, funded or not, they would have announced already. There were several 07 Red Bulls at the STA DA ID session the other day. I dont think they would go over to STA if they knew Red Bulls was going DA

That doesn’t jive with the ‘Announcement coming soon’ hoopla — so either it’s happening or it’s not and it will be announced in the next several weeks OR nothing will happen and life will go on as is.

I got no mouth in this discussion, just mentioning that the time for adding teams is still quite far away. It will likely depend on who they will eliminate for someone else to take their place. FC Fury is the most logical drop, but not sure if that suffices for Red Bull.
