At this point, it is hard to tell who is a troll and who is genuine.
I will assume for a moment that you are genuine, and type a real response, knowing full well that I might be simply feeding the trolls.

If I was rude, I apologize. Perhaps you are new to Talking Soccer. If so, you might not realize that Lakeland FC has someone (or perhaps more than one person), that is trolling the club on this website. There are countless threads about the club, and they are all inflammatory and ridiculous. Someone is making a concerted effort to smear the name of the club. Those of us who care about the club are getting tired of anonymous people posting lies while hiding in the shadows behind this website.

I apologize if you were caught in the middle of that.

That said, you did note that you were not sure if LFC was the right club for your child based on responses you have been reading here. If you are judging LFC based on what you are reading here, then you are doing us and yourself a great disservice. Further, you are validating and encouraging the awful attacks the club is getting from trolls.

If you want information about LFC, there are a number of channels to seek such information. Talking Soccer is not one of them.

If you check the club's website, there is a contact page. That is the place to begin.
