Can't say this isnt a surprise, really everybody saw it coming except the brain-washed parents who still thought thier kids actually had a chance. Before you call Manchester United about looking at your boy please understand that he was part of the problem. Ok the coach is never around but today he was there and these kids cant produce when the heat is on .

Didn't the RSL B team beat Fusion this year in CDL? If this is the case, then RSL will not get out of the group of death with Rush and Team Boca this coming weekend. RSL parents must be going crazy right now. They struggled at Score and now struggling to beat Fusion. This team is going to collapse after this weekend because those parents do not know what soccer and development is about. They only care about the win column and now they are going to scatter like roaches after this weekend.
HCU, Clearwater be ready for those calls coming in after this weekend fro RSL U17A Team parents. Good team but they don't know how to finish off teams. They lost to Eastlake at score and narrowly beat Dunedin 2-0. Both USA D1 teams.
I hope they make it out of the group for the sake of the coach who is not going to be there this weekend and going with his U13 boys for State Cup.
No clubs want those loser parents from rsl to join their clubs. This was the end of the bullcrap with this team.U-17 and the end is here. You got what you paid for suckersssssssss

Experience is better than a barking coach that tells the A team how to pass, trap the ball and kick or turn. At this level, the boys should already know this and don't need play by play commentary by the coach, no wonder they cannot score when it matters because, the coaching is screaming play by play and the parents are screaming play by play on the sidelines. I will hate to be a player on that team because, you are not allowed to play the game. Too robootic and easy to defend against. Boca showed it by defending well against them and since the players are not allowed to use their creativity, they are lost.
The B team on the other hand move the ball well and are allowed to be more expressive in their play. I will bet anyone that majority of the B team will probably stay together but the A team is totally gone. Now the parents will have to blame the coach and run in off like they did to EO last year. Well RIP RSL U17A team and they will end up having only one U18 team which will comprise of mostly the current B team players who on any given day will probably give the A team a run for their money. Live with it A team parents, your sons are not as good as you think they are. Let them play the game because they love it and not because, they are in the A or B team.
No team in the area will want the players because of the bad parents. So thanks to the parents of lil Johnny, their kids are now baggage wherever they go.

They sacrificed good tactical style for high paced intensed style. It works for some teams but obviously not this team. They will stay together and give it a go one more year and I am sure that the parents have learned their lesson. The boys are good players and probably just couldn't adjust to a total contrast in coaching style. Give them 1 more year of this style coaching and they will be fine next year. Put it down as experience and give the boys one more chance to redeem themselves next year. You cannot go back to EO now because you have burned your bridge so move on with your coach and support him. He is a good coach but just a little inexperienced.

They don't care about tactics, just intensity and that is what their coach gave them.

This is from a parent worried that there kid cannot make a team anywhere else and has totally burned his bridge with the B Team..... That is simply a joke

What makes these parents think that by getting bounced out of the 1st round of state cup qualifies their kid for the academy . The kids choked , the kids have hardly won a game since Disney Qualifier yet they are going to the highest level around. You are dillusional and need to get a grip , either join the band next year or find a good local rec program and play for fun.

Ok lets calm down now. This is still a very good team that never came together during the year and have been bounced out of a tournament. Its not the end of the world. Yes we forced EO out, was that a mistake? Sure looks like one but at the time we did what we thought best for the team. The new coach is very passionate yet also very young. This was the coach that RSL gave us and someone earlier touched on this that maybe his coaching style is not for this team. The team itself is still very solid , we have some kids on the teams going thru some personal problems, we still dont have a proven goalscorer and yes the injury this year has absolutely killed us. Excuses aside this group needs to regroup and see if they we want to continue, do we need another coaching change, dare we ask for EO to come back? This is still the best team around the area , it would be a shame for it to end this way but if it does I would understand.
