The problem is these victories are becoming too commonplace for Nefc regardless of the margin of victory. One club seems to be able to win those close games consistently and the other can't. The Stars thought they finally caught this group at u13 only to be put back in its place at Regionals. Even when Stars won at younger ages, they were still outplayed, so while the results don't show wins or losses, NEFC has always been a better team than Stars. it's the older age groups that NEFC is pulling away which shows great recruiting and coaching. Smart soccer parents are seeing that the Stars hype is just that. They can get the same exposure with more local clubs and not have to drive crazy distances to get average coaching.Comment

The difference between the ECNL and the NPL is similar to taking an AP class vs an honors class.
There might be a bunch of strong students in honors classes but AP classes will always be stronger.
College coaches will always be at the ECNL events due to the huge number of the top players being on ECNL teams. Coaches also know they are playing against top competition on a weekly basis.
Unless your in the national league you are not getting great competition. Where would you go to recruit the best players ? HonestlyComment
