No freakin' way Scorpion or Manhattan are happening. Book a spa weekend to take care of your wrecked back (from shoveling). Go to FL and treat it as a mental health necessity

the idea of playing an outdoor tourney the last week of february here in Mass is pure lunacy..what a brilliant idea...trying in late March like NEFC is just stupid, but not quite lunacy

Working on clearing your fields yet?

Every year it’s the same thing with the struggle of determining if the games will be played and this year is only much worse. These pre-season tournaments have little to nil chance of being played this year. Do the right thing and cancel them now along with full reimbursement of the funds already collected. Allow enough time for the hotels to be cancelled without incurring fees. Do the right thing.
Otherwise, get to work in making the arrangements and implementing a plan to clear these fields in prep for the March tournaments. You sell them with near guarantees to play -and then balk in the 11th hour when there is snow on the fields. Blaming everybody else and surprised by the unexpected ridiculous costs involved in plowing, blame the facilities, blah, blah, blah...
It's no surprise - The snow is there now! (Maybe 5 feet in most venues). Make the decisions to cancel or clear fields. Take some responsibility for the obvious. The weather is nobody's fault but the lack of decision making is surely the fault of the clubs hosting the tournaments. Clear the snow or cancel now. Simple as that.

Serious question - has anyone seen the fields recently at any of the popular facilities? Lancaster? ForeKicks (various)?
