It is considered by many to be poor form to publicize the names of minors on this board.
Recent history has shown that anyone who gets any credit here tends to eventually get bashed so many have come to the conclusion it is better to keep the accomplishments quiet.
I see the people who bash the kids as bullies and I don't see how letting the bullies win by hiding accomplishes anything.

Maybe we'll be lucky this time, and there won't be a rash of nasty comments about the kids on the list. It would be a TS first.

First of al congratulations to all of the young ladies on the list. Effort rewarded is always a good thing.
The primary issue with this thread is the motivation for starting it. I doubt that many here believe that it was started to congratulate the players.
Given that this link was obviously provided by someone at the club level with access to this document (a parent would have likely just copied and pasted the information in - not used a drop box), it was more likely started to add another chip in the never ending Stars versus ODP battle aimed at answering claims that the club has nothing to replace ODP with.
The sad thing is posting this list in this manner only puts the players on it in the crosshairs because the inevitable counter argument will be to discuss who should or should not be on the list in an effort to discredit it.
Given where the list undoubtedly originated that speaks volumes about how little the club actually cares about its players.

A lot of bad assumptions in this post.
The poster just cut and pasted the link from the ECNL site given in the other thread. The drop box is the ECNL drop box that anyone has access to if they go to the ECNL site.

At the point this thread was started, few people outside of club had access to the information otherwise a simple link to the league's website would have sufficed. Whomever published the document went to great lengths to ensure that the original document could be seen presumably to validate the source that was publishing it. That speaks to a motivation beyond simply congratulating the players.

My guess is they were on the ECNL site and saw the link, and copied it from their not thinking at all about the conspiracy theories that you would be able to construct.

Also, the same info was posted on a different thread in response to someone asking a few days ago if the list was out (since some of the other regions had already posted their list).
I'm all for a good conspiracy, but it needs at least some plausibility to work.
