That is true. The biggest thing for me though was how organized it was. My daughters team had games at various times and the parking was so easy. I am not sure if they staggered the games or not but as one set of games ended and the cars were pulling out the new shift was pulling in. No wait, no hassle, short walk. The PDA field complex itself was in good shape, fields were trimmed and clearly lined and Rutgers was a beautiful complex. It was a great weekend.
The Bordentown fields where the U13 teams play are among the worst you'll ever play on if you have kids that attend tournaments like this. They're almost an hour from the main complex. And the tournament doesn't help coaches who coach multiple teams.
The tournament is good because PDA is one of the top 2-3 clubs in the country and they attract top teams, not because of how it's run or the fields.
Congratulations to the U13 NEFC Elites for winning the top division. They played some tough competition, especially FC Virginia. Also, Bolts won the final of their division, so it was a nice showing for MA teams. A fun weekend with some good soccer and nice weather.

At the risk of starting another firestorm, I noticed that SSS U13s played in the 2nd division and didn't fare too well. Were they missing players or did some play up?

That is exactly true. Fields were very bad. PDA lucked out with the weather, one day later and it was a major downpour all day in that area. Good tournament with excellent competiton and level of play.

NEFC part is correct. Bolts U13 did not win their division unless the tourney site has the wrong information. Lost to a NY team in the finals.
