I think we should all just have our kids quit soccer and pass a law that all soccer is banned in the US. Tear up all fields and pave them over.

What a bunch of delusional idiots on this forum. Just let your kid play soccer! How are you and your kid victims?

Your kid actually sucked so why did you waste all of your time on club soccer and now spend all of your time complaining when kids are better and get more opportunities?

Yeah that makes sense -- NOT!
seriously???...c'mon....every kid goes to school, but it doesn't mean they are all smart..we are talking about sports. Anytime you have a finite amount of talent in something and more teams and leagues are created, the talent is diluted. Unless you had a single large entity with levels based on strength, this trend will continue. Are some leagues stronger top to bottom then others, yeah probably, but along will come another "better" league somewhere to steal talent and the cycle continues. Stupidity of the highest order.

There are some not-so-talented players on the top teams because of proximity to those clubs as well.

If your kid really wants to play on the top teams against the best players (assuming they are good enough), maybe you should consider giving them the chance, and stop blaming the convenience of where the top clubs train for them not being involved.

            Not true

NEP is more about the Club's they allow in and less about the players. Every club has elite, premier, and gold level teams. NEP is consistent regarding their league philosophy, coaching standards, and commitment to player development! Anyone knocking the NEP hasn't been accepted!

It does not take dozen of years to develop talent for the top braket at Triple A. Bad comparison.
