    Alliance Soccer League

Seven clubs have come together to form the new Alliance Soccer League , serving New Jersey and surrounding states beginning in Fall 2019.

    Cedar Stars Academy (N.J.)
    FC Copa Academy (N.J.)
    Match Fit Academy (N.J.)
    NJ Stallions (N.J.)
    PDA (N.J.)
    PSA (N.J.)
    STA (N.J.)

Good, I was hoping we'd see another league soon. It's been a few months.

USClub Soccer is a complete joke.

Some good clubs playing each other locally. Nothing wrong with that. Enough with all this absurd travel.

Localized leagues already exist. This is just ******* contest between sanctioning bodies. Has nothing to do with the players

            Hmmm...why would they create this?

The reality here is very simple. PDA, Cedar Stars, Match Fit and STA create a league that is basically a shark tank where they can recruit the other clubs players. The bait is the price.

Anyone who understands youth soccer in NJ knows that the likes of PDA and Match Fit have built their brand on player recruitment. While they develop players they are not renown at the younger ages and this is a way for them to catch the players in their net early.

Any club entering into this would be foolish to do so. To save a few hundred dollars in the short term they risk losing membership and/or their identity in the long term.

So if they're saving so much on leagues does that mean they'll lower the cost of their tuition? All these guys are charging around the same. $2.5-$3k per player.

                Bod

Why would US Club roll out a league that has so many club presidents/docs on it?

                https://www.alliancesoccerleague.net...ommittees.html

All this means is that if the league grows then they'll have all the power and be able to make decisions/enforce rules that benefit their own clubs.

Also check out Match Fit and STA petulant fighting on social. Alliance? How ironic.

Ha ha ha. Matchfit has been vocal against so many clubs that we’ve lost track of the websites on which they air their grievances. I have not seen anything against STA though

Matchfit just won't stop touting they are in the "BEST" League since STA announced DA. Made a silly statement on their Facebook page after CSA and STA announced DA that Matchfit is expecting to double in size...meaning all will leave their clubs to now go to MF..they since took it down..Bucci is a clown

                      Totally misleading

PDA listed but it's only their younger boys teams in the North. No Shore, no South/Hibernian. No girls teams at all.

Cedar Stars listed but it's only Bergen boys. No Monmouth, Newark or any of the NY branches.

When was the last time anyone saw a great young Copa or Stallions team?

After that it's all PSA and STA which are owned by the same dude.

How do you know which teams PDA and Cedar Stars plan on playing in the league?

Coaching community is small, everyone knows everyone, people willing to talk. Half the clubs listed have coaches that don't believe in the league.

                            US Club promoting DA?

Alliance League retweeting/sharing STA getting DA? Alliance League = US Club. Why would they be promoting any DA related content? STA have to be running Alliance. No other explanation.

Have you seen Matchfit's posts regarding Alliance League? Outside of the DA share, if I didn't know better, I would say MFA was running it. MFA is a strong believer in the Alliance League and plans on playing their younger girls in the league for sure -- I don't know much about the boys side as my info only comes from having a daughter.
