Brave soul, you know what's coming, right? But this is where BC's focus should be, competing within their conference. Not a bad start for them. They locked down NC St for most of the game.

The leading goal scorer in the ACC decides it's time to end this. Plows through the midfield, makes a turn, and nails the long range shot for her seventh goal of the season. Nice to have one of those.

              Absolutely fantastic finish, but...

Is that what we're calling terrible defending and game awareness these days???

Spare me apologists, but multiple players, that area of the field, against that player, at that time of the match = totally inexcusable.

BC have several players with big reputations. They consistently underperform.

I checked out the pair which double teamed her during the play. She waded right through them. They were both lightly used subs, a sophomore fwd and a freshman. Why are they on the field at crunch time?

You're kidding right? One started 4 games, was a U18 NT player another was an ECNL Id2 player. The players seemed to be stuck in cement. Is fitness still a thing at the Heights?

If the GK could jump she makes the save easy. It was from over 30 yards out.

At that level, if you are putting kids with just ECNL id2 on the field you are going to lose. That simple.

Exactly what I was going to post. All 3 players (22, 14, and 17) looked slow and gassed.

At that level? Vs NC State? Dont buy that. What IS interesting is a player like King was largely overlooked for youth NT honors. Many of those BC kids have YNT honors etc, but they seem to perform far worse than reputation.
