    NYC yanked everyone's permits

That's a major blow for many clubs aspirations to play a fall season. Long Island and upstate might still be able to play but for the city it's game over.

I will be surprised if many schools or even town fields will be in play. Lots holding back permits, especially with the uncertainty of school sports.

How are the leagues scheduling games? Nobody has any permits yet. We will all have to play on SUSA's new field(s) :)

The rationale for this by Di Blasio has to be sickening. He can pay his wife 2 million dollars to pay her staff of 14 who do nothing yet deny permits to use Randall’s Island which is big and wide enough to ensure socially distancing. That makes no sense!

For Auburndale our fields are in excellent shape since we maintain them at significant cost to the club. City parks are first come. We will schedule earlier games starting 8 am, and practices will have to start earlier as well to hold the fields.

Roosevelt Island will be a problem High Schools will have to figure out if they can wing it.

I imagine the literal turf battles could get ugly

O'Connor is primarily a CYO field.

Those Auburndale fields are not "your" fields. They're still city fields requiring permits regardless of the club helping maintain them. And they're still *****ty.
