Only 36? FSA ECNL easily outscores you there.

CFC 03s are their weakest team

        total 4-5-6

Oh and it was a showcase, many committed players didn't go and uncommitted players got plenty of PT. Plenty of college coaches.
I'd reserve judgement until these teams start making their way through the conference schedule.

Showcases are equal playing time. ECNL allows re-entry at half so kids can all play 50% of the game. CT teams aren't deep enough to play big market teams with the bottom third of their roster. If you use the U17s for example, the main goal was exposure for the uncommitted kids.

Oakwood game reports from last year revealed that many players were left out of the showcases and some traveled to only see a total of 15 minutes on the field. They still managed to have poor results and did a disservice to the players trying to gain exposure.

OW at any age sits the bench at showcases. You don't get playing time if you are outside the top 10. For OW, it's about bagging the win, which they also don't do.

All DA rosters, starts and playing times are published. Not too hard to figure it out

                - not the OP or with CFC

Showcases typically try to match up team of similar strength. Jeff Cup at the older ages is a showcase format. Top teams in the top brackets and they keep standings. No championship game. I think they allow unlimited substitutions which is great for showcases. Like others said the focus at showcases shouldn't be on exposure for players.

ECNL matches up teams the same way. Bottom third of the ECNL has some bad clubs (Albertson last year, Delco/Bucks). They play the other bad teams. If your team is decent you play Michigan Hawks, McLean, Slammers etc.

The local ECNL teams are all good about their players getting their fair share of time. If that's the case, you can't sweat results at these things. Hard part for clubs is that ECNL counts showcases towards postseason.

This is why everyone hates CFC parents.

Red charger guy will take that challenge (and then not show up, again).
