They would be playing for 3rd place in conference behind the Reign and Crossfire. It is not CU's fault that US Soccer messed things up. Take it up with US Soccer.

Side note, this CU 03 team tied mighty crossfire premiere last year in last game of season before premiere left for GDA and should have won. Just sayin

Bummer Crossfire Premier left, this move along with the Reign's departure watered down the NW region US Club league drastically, jus sayin.

This includes wins over the top ranked ECNL team in WA, ID, UT, CO, TN, South TX. And before you go bashing ID and UT as usual, know that UT is the only team to beat the top ranked Strikers FC. Give the girls some credit, they’ve earned it!

Wait I thought CU was ranked #2 in the nation, they aren’t even sniffing the top 25

If CU has been so amazing why have four of the 05s already committed to Thorns for next year?

05 team is killing it and Thorns is a leaky ship at best in a league that is going down. CU should summon the parents and figure out what is going on. Something smells snakey if this is true.

Not a legit list. CU03's smoked strikers and they are 21. You GPS people dont get it. National lists are guesswork at best. We play in a true National league. We dont need black magic and game submittal to top drawer for credit. At the end of the year where we stand in league is our rank and ecnl is best comp in USA as of today and getting stronger. Go pump up your doc with how you battled on TAlking Soccer last night and be gone with you.

GPS has talent, but play against a wider range of teams.

The issue isn’t the leagues, the acronyms, the results or the kids.

The issue is the adults. Coaches and DOCs prop up their product with sales scams and promises of college soccer (have you ever watched college soccer? It is, for the most part, an abomination) because they can’t offer anything else.

                      Enjoyment? Nope

                      Education? Nope

Development? Not sure what it means - ask them to define it.

They need their paycheck. Not many soccer coaches would be hired to do much else

And they enjoy and wxploit two things: 1. parent andnplayer ignorance and, 2. Sunk costs (fiscally and emotionally) by getting that deposit up front and holding your daughter’s player pass until you’ve paid in full.

This isn’t a soccer issue. Except soccer in Oregon remains in the proverbial Foley bowl because of adult behavior.

And we’ve yet to discuss the physical and emotional toll the adults are unwilling to discuss.

Enjoy your petty bullish!t, but do know it isn’t the real issue.

What 05 CUs are leaving for Thorns?

CU’s 05 team is amazing. It’s like a different game than the rest of the kids play. Can’t see why families would leave such a successful team that plays as well together as these kids do. Who is going to the Thorns?

There are five going together. The success will carry over with the 05s at Thorns who are also very good and who have been competing and training with top 04s all year. The 05 Thorns team will be excellent.

What about CU04? Any jumping ship for GDA?

If anyone leaves it will be at the bottom of the food chain cause they aren’t getting enough playing time and it’s always the coach’s fault. Same story every year. NONE of the top talent is leaving this team to go to a crap 💩 GDA program. Now go watch this team walk through the State Cup and enjoy the show.
