They will win the rest of the season, but probably not against Nobles. Besides Choate, Nobles is the best prep team on paper and on the pitch in NE, depending on how BH plays that day they Rivers will or tie, either way they should win or enjoy co champs of the ISL.)
WMA 9-2-1 2.33 (By far one of the stronger teams I have seen play this year, with 5 of their players together since youth soccer it shows on the field. AB is force up front and GM is big factor in midfield when she plays)
Pomfret 9-2-1 2.33 (Stats are inflated, team plays with heart, surprised year after year their season ends early, Erin is a strong coach and several of the players play club together. Interested to see how they fair against WMA, they should win 2-3 of their last 5)
Governors 8-2-2 2.17 (Stronger than I expected after losing the twins, the hard part of their schedule is behind them if they can control SB on Wed)
Groton 9-3-1 2.15 (Arguably one of the best strikers in NE, she has good support with DVB. Control SB and Govs will win, otherwise I give the W to Groton and they will finish 12-3-1)
Tabor 8-3-1 2.08 (Lost 4/5 of their defense and started season with 3/6 returning offense on sidelines due to injuries, puts a lot of pressure on TAs one returning center back and her young defense. After watching part of their Rivers game, their defense lead by LD came up big. Could TA not score with MB on the sidelines, based on TAs website and the Globe she’s back, and they haven’t lost. WA will be their test on Wed)
Lawrence 8-3-1 2.08 (LA has always played tough, and is well coached with Kim at the helm, they are solid, but seem to struggle in big games. Unfortunate for them, the tough part of their schedule is ahead)
Kingswood 7-5-0 1.75 (Lost to Loomis tonight 2-1. Though they have a better record, I would argue Berkshire or Williston deserves the 8th spot)
Ms Porters 6-6-3 1.4
Berkshire 4-5-2 1.27
Williston 4-5-4 1.23

from the nepsac site:
Classification: The members of the NEPSWSA Executive Board review all NEPSAC
schools individually. In keeping with the criteria outlined by the NEPSAC Executive Board
(see page 14), schools are classified on the basis of female enrollment at the start of each
school year. NEPSWSA has set the female enrollment parameters as follows:
-Class A: 250 and above
-Class B: 180 to 249
-Class C: 110 to 179
-Class D: 110 and below
In conjunction with female enrollment numbers, NEPSWSA uses the following when
determining class:
-Strength of program
-Non-league schedule
-Program history
-League affiliation
Schools may appeal their classification to the NEPSWSA Executive Board no later than
October 1st of each fall season. If the board denies an appeal and the school contests the
denial, the appeal then moves to the NEPSAC Executive Board for a final decision. All
teams must be classified by October 15th.

They deserve a spot; they've earned it.

Anyone doubting that Pingree belongs in the Prep Top 10 should take a closer look. First off 66 goals should jump right off the page. Then their only stumbles are a 1-0 loss to Class A Phillips Andover and a 2-2 tie with Class A BB&N. There isn't a class C team that has played a tougher schedule.

The tie with BBN is respectable as is the close loss to PA, but beating up on the lesser lights in the EIL is where all the goals came from, no?
