The organization will file for chapter 11 protection again, third time may be the charm. Buyer Beware.

The merger surprised you. I know it makes you mad. Wait until the dividends start to pay off. Hide all the sharp instruments in your house.

Why the Boston Breakers will not last three years:

They almost sellout all their games:
          TRUE

Does the gate pay for travel, stadium, players and coaches salary? Boston may do ok, but the league will not survive without a television contract. Look at the two previous goes at womens professional soccer. No sponsorship = No survival. People may laugh at the WNBA, but they never folded. WMLS??? Double header soccer games at Foxboro? That's the only way womens soccer will survive in a professional manner.

I wish the title was true on the Breakers part. Could care less about the scorpions or any club for that fact. It would be great if a womens soccer league could survive in the USA.

How much do the players get paid? Are they getting paid?

The WNBA hasn't folded because the NBA subsidizes it not because it's an efficient business venture. So people laugh at the WNBA because it sucks.

When Breakers folds, good bye ECNL - that's really going to be a shame for NEFC and it's players.

The other possibility in the event of any winding down of the Breakers Professional organization is a simple transfer of the Breakers ECNL badge to NEFC.

The ECNL will have included the NEFC's current Elite teams (playing as Breakers Academy) for at least a season (2016-17), and if Breakers Pro ultimately folds, why wouldn't ECNL seriously consider just awarding the badge to NEFC. After all, it's the NEFC Elite youth program that is going to be populating all of the Breakers ECNL teams, isn't it?

Do you think it's that easy? With all the other clubs that apply every year and get turned down across the country, ECNL would allow that? The answer is No. That's why we chose the other club two months ago....I would have loved my child to play for NEFC but the unknown about the deal between these two parties makes me nervous...IF breakers decides they want to start their own club and break the deal (just like they did with FCB), what's stopping them other than lawyer fees? In the end, the license is theirs...why share the profits? One would argue the players are NEFC's - but if the players had to choose - stay with NEFC and go back to NPL or go play for Breakers ECNL - which do you think the majority would choose - too risky for me.....and now I see the fees - ouch...

No one likes the guy so of course he's going to take shots here. You speaking for him just fuels more of it because everyone believes you are actually him trying to do damage control.

Sorry Braga, BTDT, anyone else who serves as a euphemism for NEFC, no one else is buying it either.

Then take a poll to see how many think the Scorpions have any ability what so ever at this point to "change America as we know it"
