It's the #1 choice for the 'B & C' team players, spot on. Where have you been.

And they still have players quitting and clubs pulling out. How bad does your product have to be when you literally can’t give it away?

US Soccer brought in 40 to 50 former US Club girls clubs i the DA in one year and you're beaming about 3 of them returning. You have lost it and are beyond help. Seriously.

So you are denying the documented fact that girls have quit academy teams and clubs have pulled out? You really are delusional, “XF GDA parent” that just happens to be trolling an Oregon soccer chat board in the middle of the night.

If your girl didn't get cut from the u16/17 or the u18/19, then you are ok.
Seriously, how much longer can Crossfire pay for 4 teams 2 boys and 2 girls when
the monopoly for talent has been destroyed? Why be the second team of a club
when your girl can be the first team of a club? Roughly it costs with travel 6500 + club 2500 fees about $9,000 per player. So, 4x18x9000= $648,000 a year.
              Just travel is 4x18x6500= $468k.

ECNL really messed over Crossfire on this aspect. No more have teams of 20-22+
girls on the ECNL teams Crossfire to pay for the DA. No more hopeful girls dreaming
of playing on GDA or ECNL in the A, B, C teams. Just move to SU, PacNW, or WPFC.

Maybe this is a good thing. Crossfire actually needs to develop players,
instead of collecting from outside clubs. Your business model is f*cking broken.

-XF Parent who will leaving soon with other XF parents. Bye.

There are more than three and more are coming. Some of them are top clubs.

Across the US GDA is only free at less than half a dozen clubs. At many clubs the expenses are the same as ECNL or marginally less. For some players the small savings isn't enough to hold them, not when the quality of competition is inconsistent and personal sacrifices too high.
