D1 schedule - we played SHS, NBHS and others. We should play D1. Easier path to the State Finals.

Those who think it would make Nauset less likely to win @ D1 obviously don't watch them; or most HS soccer teams @ the D1/D2 level. The divisions don't mean that much until you start getting past 3/4. $ in town and the quality of the program are more important as to how good these teams are year after year.

Plenty of D3/4 teams are much better then the middle of the pack D1/2 teams. The top couple D4 teams would give the top D1 teams a run for their money. The top couple D1 teams would win be a goal or two, but that is all.

Original poster here--I agree with you -I just think that when you have a much smaller pool of Boys it becomes a factor. at some point--- Wealthier towns also have an advantage for all HS sports-Look at Norwell/Cohasset in soccer and Duxbury in Football.

I was impressed with Nauset. Felt maybe they had too many balls that relied on defense/keeper error. Played a great ball possession game in their defensive two-thirds of the field.
