Who is to blame when college recruiting doesn't work out as planned

The class of 2018 is well into their recruiting work and no doubt there are more than a few parents coming to the realization that what they thought was going to happen, isn't. The question that usually follows the recruiting cold shower is who is to blame?

Now that's funny....from the person who started yet another "cold shower" recruiting thread. Biggest ***** in the state.

Never seen one person take personal failure so hard. Hard to watch.

Don't be so hard on yourself Perspective. Stay on your medication and better days are ahead.

Great question. Most of us don't have any expectations, but you obviously did and clearly could not have messed up any more than you did before, so why don't you answer your own question.

Yes they are and the recruiting doesn't stop until June going into their HS senior year. If your kid is good enough he/she will be recruited. Right on time. But obviously he/she is not hot cake. If you or some coaches helped you build castles in the sand, you are the one to blame.

There are already a good number of players already comitted in this class and it is becoming obvious that the window is closing for D1 hopefuls. The way things work, after this spring the only option really left will be D3. That's about the time you start to see Perspective starting a whole bunch of threads about how important the education is. That's how he keeps the shocked parents spending on the ECNL but anyone with half a brain knows that is nothing but a face savings ploy.

Looking at the FC Stars commitment page, 16 girls graduating this year have committed from their ECNL team and 11 from their NPL. Great schools are represented. Not sure who the shocked parents are.

Nice try, BTDT. No one heard a peep from Perspective for 2 weeks and then you decided to go on another spree. I could not care less whether any player goes D1 or D3 or if if not a single kid from Mass goes anywhere. How many threads have you started today???

You seriously have an illness, and yes, everyone here is really embarrassed for you. There is no rehab big enough and long enough to even put a small dent in your addiction. On and on you go 9 years running. And STILL not a single friend to write a support post for you. STILL 6 years later completely clueless that you had a D3 kid who you punished the daylights out of. All these years and you still haven't figured out what a fool you are for publicly displaying how gross and poisonous you are. I'm sure your wife and daughters have begged you to stop.
