Ya never know this person could end up at bucks as the 2006 team is really really hurting for players. They are in no position to turn away bodies or checks.

No soccer in 2020. Let’s hope we can get some scrimmages in spring

Sadly this may be the best case scenario for the entire 2006 age group at Bucks. BB’s machinations and manipulation have created a situation where both the ECNL and RL teams are struggling to fill their roster. Currently the RL has around 11 players and the ECNL around 13 and the CRUSA travel team moved en masse to Upper Makefield. Sad state of affairs at the 2006 bucks age group. Bucks better hope they don’t get the boot from ECNL.

Last fall Delco finished 0-27 in the U12-U14 ECNL age groups but Bucks is in danger?

FC Delco has a few things going for it.

The power brokers within the ECNL want Bucks out. There is nobody left at the club with a deep relationship within the ECNL. CM is not that person. He is a divisive figure who has zero respect within in the youth or college soccer coaching community. Bucks's first DoC choice turned them down. I wonder what she knows. LS and SB do not move the needle.

There is nobody at Bucks who knows how to run an elite soccer club. There is to much fighting between the FC Bucks faction and the CRUSA faction. It is only going to get worse now that FC Bucks is starting at U9. They are going to implode form the inside. So far the CRUSA faction won by removing DM. Do you think things are going to be any easier for CM?

Facilities, Facilities, Facilities, Facilities, Facilities, Facilities, Facilities, Facilities. ECNL does not want its teams sharing facilities and FC Delco has first refusal rights at the PG. Meaning they can take up any time slots and fields they want before Bucks gets to pick.

Players - Bucks can't keep players or promte the league in a way to attract players. Every team struggles to fill rosters. The 2005 Girls ECNL is the lone exception only because CM brought an entire team with him.

There is also the fact that Bucks has already been put on notice and Delco has not been.

Cutting Bucks will make Delco and PDA South stronger. Their proximity to PDA South does not help.

The new league alignment bought some time and wins. However, you should have no doubts they are on a short leash.

The power brokers within the ECNL want FC Delco out and COVID-19 saved FC Delco from getting the boot from the league. The FC Delco teams did not have enough players this past season, and will continue to struggle club wide. The past few years at FC Delco have been about moving players around to get games played, or else face getting kicked out of the league. FC Bucks has always had an advantage of having a base of players, which is most important. Having new leadership should help get things moving in the right direction, but it's all new, and change will take a bit of time. Long term, FC Bucks will be the best option outside of PF in girls soccer in the Philly area.

Well said - and completely true! You may need to say it louder for the people in the back who are deaf, dumb, and blind to what is going on at Bucks.

Speaking on the 2006 age group - if bucks is in such better shape than why did Delco literally attract and roster every talented player that was looking for a new team? Bucks 2006 had zero interest from anyone outside the club. Furthermore, judging from the Bucks emails begging for players it looks like they may be the ones not able to field teams this year. Every single team except 2005 is in need of players.

But go ahead keep telling yourself bucks is in better shape than delco - your kid will be the last one on the ship when the team sinks.

Both clubs in trouble. FC Bucks will have the better future as a club going forward.

Both clubs going to be out of ECNL especially with the addition of the 3rd PDA team - how many girls/parents have a plan B?
