Here is some info on Class A
Worcester 15-0-1
Choate 14-1-1
Loomis 11-1-2
Taft 13-2-1
Nobles 11-2-2
Andover 10-5-1
Hotchkiss 8-5-3

That is 9 teams. One will be eliminated. Hotchkiss plays Taft tomorrow. A loss could eliminate them. Nobles v Milton will play a big role in selection process. Andover has played the toughest schedule.

Candidates Hopkins, Suffield, Marianapolis, Thayer, Govs
Hopkins 9-6-2 (no games left)
Pro: good overall record
Con: All 9 wins versus class C teams.
Suffield 9-5-2 (game left with W&M)
Pro: good overall record, nice win over Hotchkiss
Con: 6 wins over C teams, only class B win over win-less Berkshire
probably needs to win last game to strengthen its case.
Marianapolis 10-8-1 (league tourney games left)
Con: 0 class B wins
Thayer 7-6-4 (no more games)
pro: 3 class B wins, 2 class A wins...best result, win over Milton, several quality ties
Con: two of the class B wins over weak Winsor and Dana Hall, lost to Govs
Govs 6-5-4 (no more games)
pro: 2 class B wins, 2 class A wins, several quality ties, beat Thayer
con: no notably wins beyond Thayer
The decision for the committee will be how strength of schedule plays a role.

Nepsac really is the best high school soccer league in the country. The tournament selection process mirrors the NCAA tournament selection process and that makes every regular season game mean something. The quality of play is unmatched anywhere in the country. Where else can you play teams that start 6, 7, 8, 9 + ECNL D1 college commits every week? Parents, if you're reading this, if you've got talented girls in middle school, contact some of the prep schools mentioned in these posts. Don't waste your kid's school soccer experience. Get them playing on a Nepsac team. They will be better off for it.

Nobles is very young but their team will have the same number by the time those girls are seniors. Go watch Worcester or Choate play next week. They are head and shoulders better than any high school team in the country.
