That's good for NS. Brookline was favored, so to get a point is a plus. They just need to tie NN in finale to qualify now. If NS can't manage that, they don't deserve D1 tournament berth.

Agreed Franklin is a mess this year. Almost no chance they advance.

Franklin may get a break if KP wraps up the Hock before their game. Likely to rest some of their starters

That's not gonna happen. KP will have to win out

A lot of games which could see the seedings get shaken up.

                  Couple of Questions.

Could Silver Lake drop out of the top 4?

Can Needham, Weymouth, Braintree Move into the top 4?

Which High seed would you want to match up with in the 1st round?

Are there any true Dark Horse teams this year?

Can Brockton or Wellesley make a run? Both were in Sectional Final Last year.

                    Philip spelled with 1 "l"
Silver Lake 10-2-0 in league play, Hingham 8-0-5. Silver Lake has a slightly better record and is at home. Would favor them, not Hingham.
Also don't follow the logic about Needham. They're in first place, so they have to be favored. Unless your logic is always pick a 0-0 game when Brookline's involved.
It won't be a surprise if Natick ties Walpole.

Well Seeing Brookline and Needham tied 1-1 Earlier this year and it's the second time they play I expect it to be a 0-0 draw.

Hingham Beat Silver Lake 2-0 earlier this month in a game I watched and Hingham domianted Silver Lake so that is why I have them a Favorite.

How many of these team's have you actually watched this year?

I have Seen the following and generally think I have much better knowledge about the D1 south and BSC teams than most do.

                      Needham
                      Brookline
                      Braintree

                      Weymouth

                        Couple of Questions.

Could Silver Lake drop out of the top 4? They could, but the teams below them are as likely to drop a point or 2 as SL, so more likely that SL stays top 4.

Can Needham, Weymouth, Braintree Move into the top 4? Basically the same answer: plenty of scenarios in which it could happen, but at best 1 of them would slide into top 4.

Which High seed would you want to match up with in the 1st round? Define "high"

Are there any true Dark Horse teams this year? All the teams 8 or below at the moment should be regarded as dark horses; all the teams currently 7 or above have about an equal chance, given the unpredictability of knockout games in soccer.

Can Brockton or Wellesley make a run? Both were in Sectional Final Last year.
Brockton was a co-#1 (coin flip assigned them seed 2) seed last year. They won 3 games in which they were favored (15 Plymouth South, 7 Franklin, and 8 Wellesley), and 1 that was a toss-up (co-#1 Braintree, assigned seed 3 by coin flip). Then they lost 1 game in which they were favored, to North #8 Lincoln-Sudbury. Is it a "run" if you win a certain number of games, like 2, or must there also be some upsets involved?
Wellesley eliminated #9 New Bedford (would you have regarded New Bedford as the favorite there?), #17 Xaverian, and co-#1 Needham (coin flip assigned them seed 4) before being eliminated by co-#1 Brockton.
Seems pretty remote that either would make a run this year (since both will be seeded 9 or below, definition of a run in this context is 2 wins). Both have gotten much younger than last year, and the record of each isn't as good as 2015. Would not be surprised if either won a game as an underdog, but neither seems poised to make a run.

Haven't seen as many teams as you, but the greater difference might be in how much weight to put on a game or two, vs a whole season's record. Saw one team beat another something like 5-0, then turn around and lose to them the very next week. If you'd watched the first game, you would have predicted another massacre. If you'd looked at each team for the season as a whole, you'd have predicted a close game. Basically, there's a lot more noise than we often assume.

I would drop Brookline a little bit. They just don't score enough goals. And there is no way Quincy is better then Framingham.

How many of these team's have you actually watched this year?

I have Seen the following and generally think I have much better knowledge about the D1 south and BSC teams than most do.

It will be interesting to see if Hingham can repeat. I'm not so sure they will with SL at home.
