1-1 at the half. Williams scored on a nice cross. MIT evens the score on a corner kick. Williams looks to be the superior team. More skilled and more athletic. Williams had 3 or 4 other good chances but did not put them away. Some nice soccer from both teams though.

Williams lists at least 10 ECNL players on its roster. And Williams top 2 scorers this year are not even listed as ECNL.

Williams 4-1 final. MIT showed some flashes but Williams was the far superior team.

Both teams played pretty soccer. Not much of the kick and run I see in D1 games. Of course, a real D1 side would destroy Williams using its bigger stronger players to dominate in a kick and run game.

In the 1st half they looked competitive, but wore down in the 2nd. For the last 10 min they were holding on for dear life. Back line was very shaky and planing boot ball.

WPI and MIT tie for the regular season NEWMAC title. WPI gets the #1 seed based on head to head victory. Great season for WPI. Congrats to the team.

WPI is ranked 8 and MIT is ranked 9 in last week's regional NCAA rankings. So they both have a shot at getting into the NCAA tournament.
