What does it matter? The way the whole thing works is the coaches are coming to see specific kids, they really aren't there on a fishing expedition.

Because you send emails to schools that are attending the tourney asking them to come to games? Schools do watch the players multiple times before they make an offer you know.

Lol. If the coaches aren’t interested in watching your kid at a small local event like this one what makes you think they are going to hunt them down at a big event in another part of the country? Pretty obvious someone is desperate to get people traveling, the only question is why?

Earlier today I found it under the "Register to play" choice on the girls spring showcase website. But now it's listed on the main webpage. I noticed they updated the boys' page today to show college coaches in attendance as well.

Why? because many colleges exist beyond 200 miles of local tournaments. Coaches from NC or VA schools don't travel to New England to watch tournaments. Does that not make any sense to you?

It is not a very impressive list of schools. I think there are too many so called college events.
