Totally agree. I don’t know any sport professional or club that’s like SSS. Here at SSS your CHILD will participate throughout the season with the team helping to advance with hopes to make it to the finals just to be casted by the wicked hand of LL to sit out while the rest of the team plus subs moves on to the finals or tournament. Maybe in their country but in this country when your picked for a team you win together and you lose together. Screw you LL and puppets.

Your child must not be that good. LL is very upfront about that in the beginning of the year.

LL plays to win. That is why all her age groups are the top 1 or 2 in their division. SSS has different level teams. If your child is at the bottom of the talent on one of SSS top teams, then that child will be subject to not playing much. They may be better off on a lower level team getting more play time and feeling good about themselves. This happens at every competitive soccer club and gets worse as they get older.

My advice to a bunch of you is to stop turning your soccer coaches into gods. What you are going to find is that in the end they are human with human needs like putting groceries on their table. I have yet to meet a soccer coach who was on a par with Mother Theresa so plan accordingly.

Totally agree. Play to win. Not everyone deserves a trophy!

They also have multiple training opportunities, some great coaches, and a strong program for ulittles. Every club has the good and the bad.

If USSF wants her to play
DAP trust me she is moving on from select. Loyalty only goes so far. If ussf wants dap to work you can't let outliers dictate where they will and will not play. Unless ussf is going to give sss a DAP franchise she will leave. If ussf doesn't
Strongly suggest that inclusion in future NT pools is contingent on DAP participation it will fail miserably. Don't think there's not pressure from DAP clubs to exclude non club members from invites to camp either. If she doesn't want to follow what ussf wants they'll find another 2004 that will. Don't think for a minute the players hold the leverage. Leave her out of the next couple invites and see how the tune changes.

If your child is not on an AP team I might not pay to stay there either but for the most part even the B and C teams get way better coaching than even Elite A teams at other clubs. It’s good that they are always exposed to all the coaches and different styles...you definitely won’t get that at most other clubs...other clubs can barely afford to keep a bare minimum staff.
