What makes you think anyone cares about posts on this forum. I hardly cared enough to respond to your obtuse ramblings.

Oh, OK. Did you at least attend one of btdt's seminars at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough?

I don't need btdt to tell me that this team struggles. It's hard to know exactly where they rank against Mass teams since they only played ECNL in the spring, but they lost to NEFC Premier and tied NSU's top team at the MPS tournament. I heard they lost a couple of players at tryouts and haven't heard of any significant additions. OP made an assumption that because they are an ECNL team they will dominate. Recent history indicates otherwise.

And, for the record, my daughter's goal is to play on an ECNL team. BTDT probably wouldn't let me through the door.

Wow, the boys side is another debacle. Knowing this crowd, I guess they will have U11s playing U14s???. Give it up CSU - dont be so greedy, you are embarrassing yourselves. Have 1 tournament a year and concentrate on make it the best it can be, like other clubs do. Having 3 tournaments, at least two of which are garbage, does nothing for your image.

              Image?

Are we talking about the same club?

Their image will not be harmed. They are as shady and poor as they can be, a less than mediocre tournament in mid August will do little to enhance, or harm.

Interesting that no one said anything about this tournament back when NEFC used to go to it...hmmmm

BU14 will have its hands full at Stars Cup. There are a lot of big mouths with that team, we'll see how they stack up with the NEP big boys if they play in the top division

When has this EVER been a decent tournament?

Now we have awful CU teams blended with even worse Stingray teams, playing against other pointless teams ( mostly )

Who gets to drive the golf cart? The power struggle could be quite telling?

Dr. Pepper Fair Play - nice message with the soda sponsorship
Copa Futbol La Michocano Meat Market - no comment necessary, but I'd love to get a t-shirt
City of Enchantment Tournament - never knew that Lake Jackson, TX was the City of Enchantment. Good to know.

                                Hee Haw!
Pretty bold talk for a state that is better known for liberal politics than for soccer. You have absolutely no idea how tough the tournaments are in Texas and California. These little Mass teams wouldn't register in those places. Heck, you wouldn't register in NJ or Virginia. Funny, but the average, local tournament in Texas or California would result in the best Mass team going 0-3 in pool play. And you will talk tough on this board, but in your mind, you absolutely know it is true.
