The customer is only always right when there is more supply of a product than demand. When demand outstrips supply, like for top club spots or Teslas, the seller of said product doesn't give a damn if the customer is right or wrong. -

Welcome to youth sports. As a parent you probably didn't realize your kid was falling behind. Teams are competitive and always looking to improve. That includes bringing in new players and dropping under performersOriginally posted by Unregistered View Post
Getting cut sucks but in the long run she's better off. Find a team that's a better fit for her. Even if she stayed she'd probably play less and less and that can suck the love of the game right out of a player.Comment

No it’s the coach who is always right , not the customer. Now if many customers band together they can always find a new coach. The coach may still be “right” but without a team he is out of luck.Comment

For what? A coach can only do so much to improve players. Some players just cant keep up with progression of the team. He's also expected to produce results which means solid records etc which keep families at the club and brings new ones in. Its how the system works.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

More importantly, how does your daughter react to adversity? Time to teach her get up, brush herself off, and go find a new time to play on. And if that is not what she does, that is fine but don't blame it on the coach.Comment

Give me a break. Some coaches have a history of being able to produce great players and others have produced none. But the ones that have no track record want to blame everything on every other factor than maybe they aren't doing their job properly. No. It is your fault and your daughters. You and she need to put in the work. If she isn’t as good as the other 15 kids on the team, she needs some supplementary training. Maybe lots. Coaches Cant make chicken salad out of chicken crap. Coaches can’t focus on the bottom of the team. You can’t help 2 left feet.
