    College question

My 11 year old daughter plays in the premiership of NEP. She plays futsal in the winter. She is a straight A student. She is a starter on her team and very skilled, juggling over 5,000 and practicing foot skills every day. Her goals are to play high school and college soccer. We had plans to take her to some ECNL trainings over the spring, but with everything going on that did not happen. She will stay with her current NEP team for next year. My question is- we are an middle class family, my wife stays home and I make about $70,000. Does my daughter need to play ECNL to be recruited? We live in a location that would make it very difficult to get to any of the ECNL clubs. We have 3 other children. With my income and her grades I imagine she would receive some financial aid. Thank you for your time reading this.

(ECNL crowd chimes in soon to tell you that your kid would be better off doing something else. Tough crap if you can't make it to an ECNL club, they really don't care)

Sure. Go ECNL and watch your $70k salary become $55k

Nice job baiting the board. 11 years old. She's in 5th grade?
She is in no risk of being left behind.

At what age should we try to go to an ECNL team? Is there a magic number?

Dropping little Mia off in Lancaster in your Hyundai? ECNL clubs don’t like folks in your income bracket. Move along.

What are the situations for the other 3 children?

And what % of those 5000 juggles are with her feet?

                You are an azz.

If she is talented, she could have her choice of clubs.

She can juggle with both feet. Her touch is impeccable. There is no other player in our area that I know of who is even close to her level, I’m talking even players older than her too.

                    You failed twice.

I asked about the other 3 kids.

I asked what % of juggles OTHER THAN her feet.

Two of the other kids play too, just not as good as her.

Have her focus on having fun and developing. The system will find her if it was meant to be.

$70K and 4 kids? That's not middle class in Eastern Massachusetts. Before worrying about soccer, I suggest you invest in a vasectomy or tell your wife to keep her legs shut.
