How long will new Ct girls college coaches get a free pass?

Several new coaches hired by Connecticut colleges for women's soccer in last year or two. How long till honeymoon over and what to expect this year?

New coaches generally get 4 years to turn things around. Longer if the school doesn’t care. It isn’t basketball or football.

Apparently you can stay forever even if you are a 0.500 coach.

One of the top programs in the region continues to develop under the watch of Adam Cohen, who is in his 14th season as head coach of the Southern Connecticut State University women’s soccer team in 2018.

Cohen has posted a 105-98-29 mark leading the Owls and has won at least 10 games in a season on four occasions

So you’re mad because your daughter didn’t cut it at SCSU?

Over .500 isn’t a bad run. You’d be surprised how many professional coaches/managers are below .500. Now if you are talking about a big name program, that’s a different story.

Plenty stay with records like that. If the school doesn't care that much about sports (SCSU is not exactly an athletic powerhouse) and /or the AD doesn't care. If the coach is well liked, no issues scandals...
