More than a Teacher...get over it. Soccer is a big business with a lot of people making a lot of money. It’s what is wrong with soccer in this country but it’s never going to change...

Yeah, paying coaches for their time and skill. That's what's wrong with youth soccer. Moron.

So it sounds like you are an out of state coach... possibly looking to move??

If you have an A licence or something that you can dangle in front of a club (connections, impressive pro resume, etc) to make them want to use you as an advertisement then you can make out pretty good. If not, pay is sh1t, but S.Fl is full of morons that think their kid is the next messi, so just rope a few in and charge 50$/Hr for private training around team practices and you will be fine!

If you coach a higher level travel team level team coaches make between $9000 to $12,000 per team for players U14 and older. Younger teams at higher level clubs make around $5000 to $8000 per team.

Those seem high to me but it's possible they are making as much as $12,000. They get killed on the taxes since they work as independent contractors.

Most claim hotels, food and mileage on tax returns.

and that is only over 10 months.

If you have a good following, private training and Camps can just barely get you over the hump.
