South Shore is a solid club. Getting them down here is a good for any event.

If I’m not mistaken, they only youth national players in New England are from their club. Tend to play nice soccer too

Select brings its entire club, all level teams on both boys and girls side, to the CFC tournament and has done so for many years. Not sure what will happen in future years as Select just formed a “partnership” with Boston Bolts and over the next year or two most of us expect it to be a full merger. The Select boys teams are already wearing “Bolts” patches on their sleeves from what I have seen. Select/Bolts absorbed four or five smaller clubs in July and August, so the dust is still settling.

Bolts just started their own Columbus Day tournament, new this year, so not sure how that will impact future trips to CFC tournament for the club.

How close? Seriously, any turf being installed on it yet?

Just looking at the master schedule for CFC on their site. Do most of their branches (and at least some of their UNITED teams) still only practice 2x per week? Was thinking of looking at a branch and United teams for next season for my daughter but would really like 3x practices per week as her current club offers. Are they substantially cheaper at least? We currently pay about $2500 + our own travel expenses. Please don't make this a debate or take it as a club-bashing opportunity if your kid doesn't play there. Just facts from current members in the Hartford area (and United) for 2006 girls teams please.

CFC teams are most likely $3k per season or more. Does not include kit or travel.
