You are trying to stir up the DA Daddy. OC politics were out of control for the MLS DA and MV was brought in to make it more of a MLS DA

Hahahahah. Yeah, right. MV was brought in because OC has never taken its academy seriously and is sick of paying for it. It�s a complete joke now.

Thought I read on another thread that one of Armadas top players was scholarshiped into MV to play on the DA team? So are they scholarshiping in top players or not?

MV makes the previous good ole boy staff look very lucky. Lucky they lasted as long as they did and Lucky all they lost was their jobs. Their backstabbing and slander finally caught up with them and now they are nothing to the central FL landscape of youth soccer. All they can do now is bash their club, owners, and staff publicly on social media and yet still have a coaching job in the youth club/Ecnl. Hypocrisy at its finest!

Academy was never taken seriously, as I said. That allowed the good ole boy pretenders to play their ass kissing game. Now the academy has been pawned off on MV and has no connection whatsoever to the pro club. None. Maybe the folks at MV will be more professional and run an actual meritocracy, or maybe they will use the MLS logo to generate tuition revenue for the for-profit private school and to subsidize the free rides they give to the African 20 year olds they bring I. To dominate high school soccer. Either way, it is not a professional football academy in any meaningful sense of the word. And only here, in america, would anyone think otherwise. Keep paying up Papi, junior�s big break is right around the corner.

Look at the boys 03/02 roster size. Many OC hold overs are looking at reduced playing time. If your son is in the bottom half I'd be looking at other options

Playing for OC DA is not living in a residency at MV. Most current players are commuting daily. Playing for SIMA and playing for OC are two different things.

I understand that, but....

There was speculation that two things may happen:
1) OC May use MV and sima as a �residency option � to recruit national top players into the MLS academy. Not many expected this to happen, but it certainly is feasible.

2) MV would use the OC Academy to recruit more full paying resident players and slot them into the Academy whether they are DA level talent or not.

People would be naive to think both those things won�t happen. Do starters when the older DA teams moved in the spring they added MV players. Will happen at the younger age groups as well
