Needham
Weymouth
Braintree
Walpole
Milton
Wellesley
Framingham
Natick
Brookline
Newton North
But all kinds of crazy **** happened last year so really who knows. Every team (save Milton) has the potential to make the tournament.

The Big striker and leading scorer in Nassau County has moved from Callahan Florida. Will be a junior at North in the Fall.

Needham will be a step behind and lost two promising young players to academy for this upcoming season which hurts their depth after graduating a big and talented class.
After those two teams it’s pretty much up for grabs with the new allignments
Wellesleys schedule gets much harder playing Framingham, Brookline, and Newton North twice and Milton/Walpole only once this year.
I’d say the league will be very deep this year.
1. Weymouth D1 South Favorite with Brockton
2. Needham D1 South Contender
3. Wellesley D1 South tournament
4. Framingham D1 North tournament
5. Walpole D2 South Tournament contender
6. Newton North D1 North Tournament
7. Brookline D1 North Tournament
8. Natick D1 South Tournament
9. Braintree misses D1 South Tournament
10. Milton just really bad

Going to be a challenge for any south teams to beat Brockton and a revived Silver Lake team (first time since 2013). Weymouth returns a senior-junior scoring combo and an academy player will be a technical improvement from last year (although they exceeded their expectations in the tournament). Braintree will be reverted back to their more traditional level of mediocrity. Needham has lost 2-3 players to academy who appeared to be pivotal to this year’s success, but will likely reload and be dangerous. Newton North will be a legitimate side with the addition of a high caliber striker, but come tournament it is unlikely he can single handedly bare the load. Wellesley down from last year’s excellent team that choked in PKs. Fringe tournament team this year with new alignment I predict. Natick up from last year, appeared to have some skilled young guns last year, unsure on how high their ceiling is but they will be in the tournament.

All very valid points. Silver Lake will be a top seed due to playing in a very weak conference.
Brockton lost some stud players but who knows what they’ll return or add to the program this year. Likely a favorite but won’t be a runaway train like last year.
Needham always solid but down this year. Relying on depth rather than stars this year.
Natick will be solid but struggle with the division alignment just like Wellesley. Both will make the tournament and win a game in the south but that’s all for expectations
Newton North will be solid and maybe have an upset or two in the north.
Brookline and Framingham are down and could be bubble tournament teams or both miss out.
Braintree is terrible
Milton blows
BC High will be a solid team this upcoming year.
Not sure who else from the south can really compete this year. It looks like a 4 horse race per the usual. Weymouth, Needham, silver Lake, Brockton. Year in and year out it’s the bay state league having 2-4 top teams in the south and then who knows what you get from silver lake and Brockton come tourney time. Occasionally we’ll have BC high show up with a decent team and make a run. Hingham still new to D1 but will be as useful as xaverian, Mansfield, King Phillip and teams like that who have a good regular season but lose early.

Maybe some of the Brockton kids were held back so they will be great again.
Weymouth will find a way to lose....although they were a very good team last yest
Why is Needham 'down'? They didn't graduate many
Natick is strong
Aside from Brockton, there is no favorite in the south
