    JB joins Liverpool North

Liverpool FC IA MA North announces Senior staff as well as new staff members for 2018/19 Season

Help us in welcoming new staff members Joel Bancroft, Colin Hack, Diego Tabares and Abigail Deangelo!

Joel Bancroft will be taking on the role of Director of Soccer for Northeast & Greater Lowell as well as staff coach. Currently serving as the Head Coach of the Saint Anslem Women's Soccer team, Bancroft has built a solid reputation in the northeast after spending four seasons on the UMass Lowell coaching staff, including three as the program's head coach. In each of his three years, the River Hawks improved their winning percentage as well as outperformed their America East Preseason ranking, culminating with the program's first America East playoff bid in 2016. Bancroft guided the River Hawks to signature wins over 2015 America East Champion Hartford, 2016 America East Champion Albany as well as rival UNH in 2016.

Prior to his time at UMass Lowell, Bancroft was an assistant coach on the 2012 Penn State University women's soccer team that won the Big Ten Regular Season Championship and finished the season as the national runner-up. Bancroft was involved in all coaching facets at Penn State, including individual coaching sessions, scouting, scheduling, budgeting, recruiting, video analysis and community service. Bancroft earned his U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) 'B' license in 2004 and was a head coach within the Maine Olympic Development Program from 2005-09.

Colin Hack join's us as a staff coach for the 2018/19 season. Colin has previously coached for SFC, Empire Academy, and currently is a staff coach for the New England Revolution Academy. Hack hold's his national diploma as well as various other coaching qualifications.

Abigail Deangelo join's us as a member of our Goalkeeping Department as well as a staff coach. Abby has coached for the past several years at multiple levels including club, high school and most recently collegiately for Rivier University as the Head coach of the Women's soccer team.

Diego Tabares join's us as a staff coach after spending the last few year's as a member of the New England Revolution Academy staff. Diego was a stand-out player for Franklin Pierce University and was named Northeast-10 player of the year in 2011. Aside from holding numerous coaching qualifications, Diego is a firm believer in our methodologies and philosophies in regards to how maximizing time spent on the ball is crucial to individual player development. Diego has competed at the regional as well as national level with Futsal and will play a key role in our Winter Futsal sessions.

Keep an eye out for more exciting staff additions to come in the coming weeks!

I don't know these coaches, and don't know much about the MA-Liverpool organization, but whoever write's their press' release's need's to have someone proofread their use of apostrophe's. Ouch.

Where was this posted? It doesn't show up on the club's website or on Google.

Google does show JB as starting with Aztec in March of 2017, though https://www.aztecsoccer.com/news_article/show/766436

I can't believe that another club is trying to break into the North Shore. This club has zero chance of survival up here.

The whole State is crammed with clubs on every corner. The North Shore isn't anything special in that regard. Time will tell.

New uniforms but DR is still in charge. That’s as much as you need to know.

Aztec girls are going to NEFS NS. Better coaching, better teams, better fields, and a really good vibe.
