They have an arrangement with IMG to fill the younger DA and GDA slots. Boys DA is U12 and U13 in 2018/2019 season with U14 being added in 2019/2020. They have the Girls GDA U14 team as well. This past year they played in the boys U12 DA and the girls U14 GDA.

Basically IMG couldn’t fill these teams since they are the younger , below High School Age.

It allows some kids to play top competition so why knock it.

Why would a travel team want to play a rec team? Does BRSC really like getting beat by 5+ goals every game? Do parents really want to pay for this kind of soccer just so they can brag to their friends that little Landon and Mia are on a DA team?

It makes the whole DA thing look like a joke. These kids don't belong on a DA team. If they were that good, they wouldn't be at BRSC. They would have moved to North like all the other good players to play and train with equal talent.

The only good thing about have BRSC in the DA is that all the other clubs can rest their good players and bring up some B team players/younger players to get some field time.

For the record...IMG U14 GDA beat the WFF U14 GDA.
So really, Braden River beat WFF...wowser.
What does that say about WFF & their talent at the U14 level?

Spin it anyway you want. WFF and or TBU have a huge roster of players on their DA teams. You don't know what team they brought to play Braden River. If I were WFF or TBU, I wouldn't even play my starters. What's the point? If this game was played after the new year (2018), then WFF starts to bring up younger players to play in the DA games. Sometimes they even let them play 2 years up. Soooooo, with this said, yes the BRSC U14 team is better then some girls from the U12 and U13 team. Congrats on the win.

Why do I even try to reason with these people? They have no idea what competitive soccer is. They live in a bubble of comfort beating local teams and thinking their kid is the best player in the Tampa Bay area. Let me know when you play the A teams of OC, Weston, Jax, FKK, Wellington, Sunrise, West Pines and see how you do.

Not true for one of the U12 boys DA team this last year. U12 has two teams
At every club. The better team won a few and except for about 4 games almost all were
Within 2 goals. Not bad for a Rec team! Will agree the second team had no business being in the DA.

Isn't the Braden River 2005 the same team that is leaving b.c. the DA this coming season because they had losses of 17-1 and games like that

Only the 2006 age played in DA this year. Next year it will be 2006 and 2007. The 2005 DA team is still an IMG Team. The second 2006 team got beat badly many times this year. Only
2 players from that team will be joining the first team to play 11 v 11 this fall.

WFF U14G lost fair and square to Braden River - all the WFF starters played - I watched the game and chuckled... Try to spin it any way you want but the WFF DA is on a real decline and for the folks that can't see it, I have a bridge to sell you

a real decline? This is the first year. How can you see a decline in 1 year? WFF will rebuild and reload with new kids from all over eastern TB.

Reload? From where? Hahaha...you'll be reloading TBU left overs. As lomg as TBU continues to have ECNL everyone girls program will be their stepchild.
