    Old, mass-market, poor-quality trainers.

CFC is delighted to announce the formation of its newest club CFC Samba!

CFC Samba will play out of CFC headquarters at CFC Park in Bethany, Connecticut and will form teams from U9-U13 Girls and Boys.

        Why choose CFC Samba?

From the ages of U9-U13 the CFC Teams will be part of the feeder system for our top teams in the Club, CFC United.

CFC United play in the ECNL which on the girls side is the highest level of soccer in the Nation and on the Boys side it is quickly developing into the place to play to be seen by college coaches as you can still play High School soccer and Elite club soccer.

ALL ECNL teams are coached by current college coaches!

Only TWO clubs in the state of the Connecticut have been accepted into the ECNL, FSA (Farmington, CT) and CFC (Bethany, CT).

CFC Samba will serve the communities of Southbury, Middlebury, Watertown, Oxford, Prospect, Naugatuck, Beacon Falls, Newtown, Monroe, Shelton, Seymour, Ansonia, Orange, Woodbridge.
More information about the new club and tryout information will follow in the next few days!

This is CFC's response to losing Real. Samba says they serve the Danbury area but that is a tough sell. Most families will follow Real to AC Connecticut. Samba will serve Bethany and surrounding area. CFC's reach in Western CT is dwindling.

CFC will have to recruit in non CFC players in larger numbers. They have lost Chelsea Piers and Real which will hurt. The Sound branch is pretty weak and it's rumored that Valley is likely to leave next. This will put added strain on existing branches to supply the Mother Ship. The only way to relieve that pressure is to recruit outsideplayers.

At least they gave it a new name. Samba has been used before

It's ridiculous that CFC would name a branch after a character from the Lion King.
