If so USSF is going to be very busy May 17th when they see the numbers don't work and will be on the phone begging cubs to stay. Hate to say it but this is plan will die a slow painful death. Enough college coaches don't support this to disrupt any plan. It's just not the same as boys where MLS clubs and "going pro" is an risky but actual pathway.

I am no fan boy of ECNL. The monopoly on top girls soccer has inflated costs, corrupted coaches, made them lazy but USSF does not have a the leverage they thought they had and that's not going to end well for them.

What is your end goal? The goals and feasible outcomes for men and women players are different.

Plenty of customers. The leagues will survive. Not in fine style, but they will survive.

Not the poster - not so much that they don't support but are nearly as frustrated by the whole landscape as parents are. The Talent is more fragmented than ever

Please tell us which college coaches are “frustrated by the whole landscape”. Which ones did you speak with about it?

You really didnt in the context in which it was asked. Parents in one camp or the other trying to project what they think College coaches are thinking. You do realize that Duke has a different agenda to CCSU right?

I doubt any of the top fully funded Soccer schools care about the landscape one bit. These schools are at YNT camps home and abroad. Budgets are just fine and they have resources to travel.

Its possible that school with poorer resources do, but that begs the question why you would want to use soccer to get there anyways ? If local, you don need showcases to get seen.

Many of the CFC coaches are also college coaches here in CT. They support ECNL because they have a great thing going by making money as a coach at both levels. They don't support GDA because it threatens their livelihood.
