    Manchester City

Tough loss this weekend to a Liverpool team that was clearly best on the day. 3-4 was flattering to City. Liverpool did a great job pressuring City all over the field, which forced City to turn the ball over a lot. That said, it's a shame the unbeaten run ended.

How about Sanchez? I am pretty confident City will not get him and he'll announce a transfer to United tomorrow. While I think City has mis-spent on defence, by a lot, and while I think City need two new central defenders who can play under pressure, Sanchez would have been a great addition to the club and given them more depth -- I like David Silva, but find him overrated, and I think Sterling is playing way above his capabilities and having a great season that is unlikely to be repeated.

As a side note, United stink, and Arsenal are going to finish outside the top four this year; look for them to gracefully bid Wenger farewell this summer.

Nobody here gives a rat's ass what you think about this. The Manchester City people actually hope you become a West Ham fan. The United people thank God every day that you are not their fan and we know you secretly sleep with a Wenger pillow under your head at night.

12 points (assuming United win today) will be a good lead halfway through January. It will be difficult for Liverpool or United to catch City, but with a tremendous run of form, they might be able to. #MindTheGap

It will be difficult, but Wenger might be able to turn things around even without Sanchez. You are right to ignore Chelsea, as they are too defensive minded to be a contender this season. Liverpool are the club to watch, because they are so potent offensively. I agree United are scum.

Braindead ... the thread “ will we ever talk soccer again” is dead ... no one cares about real soccer I tried that. Trump and Racism is more important.

What do you think about relegations from the Prem this year? I pick Newcastle, Brighton, and Swansea to go down. I think Stoke and West Brom will save themselves.

No way Stoke are saving themselves. Look at their goals against, which will certainly increase by 4 or 5 today.

I can't see Newcastle going down. I know they just came up from the Championship, but they are by far an anchor in their region -- think about it, derbies are Sunderland and Boro. Newcastle just suffer for having British ownership. Clubs have to be bought by foreigners to get the kind of financial investment required to succeed in the top third of the Prem. And, to be fair, Newcastle fans can be a tough bunch.

Imagine if City could play a more balanced game. That is, imagine if they could play both possession and some long ball, instead of all possession. Just think, if City were good enough to switch styles to combat the tactics of their opponent, they might have beaten Liverpool this time.

Yup. People seem to keep saying United are shyte, but they can play boot-it-ball or park the bus as needed.

No I'm not....they suck dead bears too. They are just buried under the other clubs trying to do it first.

                            Guess again.
